He was already the jury member of Italy’s 16th Ischia Film Festival and 57th Brno16 International Short Film Festival in the Czech Republic, IRNA reported.
Fard-Qaderi is currently working on his third cinematic film titled, ‘Afflicted,’ after ‘Immortality’ and ‘Weightlessness’.
A promising Iranian filmmaker, Fard-Qaderi, is the director of several short films including ‘The Story of a Rainy Night,’ ‘Life of Sun,’ ‘Gramophone’ and ‘Reverse Circles,’ which have been acclaimed at several Iranian and international events.
Fard-Qaderi’s ‘Immortality’ won the award for best feature film at the 15th Ischia Film Festival.
‘Immortality,’ which is a one-shot feature film, tells the story of some strangers who have to spend a rainy night together on a train.
‘Weightlessness’ was crowned best at the 3rd Insolito International Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in the Peruvian capital of Lima in 2020.
The film tells the story of a groom who has gone missing the day after his glittering wedding ceremony. The bride, groom’s mother, groom’s sister, and his lover who attends the wedding uninvited are all looking for him.
