He starred in the film, ‘Centipede,’ directed by Abolhassan Davoodi, and the TV series, ‘Deldadegan,’ ‘Eight and a Half Minutes,’ ‘Nurses,’ and ‘Dance on the Glass’.

Different cultural figures including Farabi Cinema Foundation director Alireza Tabesh and the head of Cinema Organization of Iran Hossein Entezami expressed condolences on the death of the young actor.

“The death of Ashkan Mansouri-Pourshirazi, a hard-working journalist and artist in the field of theater and cinema, grieved his family, colleagues and friends. A young man whose respect, expertise, diligence, fairness, moderation, kindness, and honesty left memories that, when reviewed, shakes the heart of anyone who knew him,” Tabesh’s message reads.
