The webinar will be launched in the presence of experts from Iran, Spain, Venezuela, and Chile.

The webinar is organized by the cultural counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Spain, Complutense University of Madrid, the Farabi Cinema Foundation, and Spain’s Asia House.

The program is slated to open on February 23 in the presence of Iran’s Cultural Attaché Mohammad-Mehdi Ahmadi, the Cinema Organization of Iran director, Hossein Entezami, director of Iran’s Farabi Cinema Foundation Alireza Tabesh, Francisco Garcia Garcia from Complutense University of Madrid, and other university figures and cineastes.

‘The Color of Paradise,’ ‘The Willow Tree,’ and ‘Rain’ will be screened and then reviewed in three consecutive days.

Majidi’s latest directorial work, ‘Sun Children,’ has made the 2021 Oscars shortlist for Best International Feature Film.

The director won an Oscar nomination for his film, ‘Children of Heaven,’ in 1998.

‘Sun Children’ won the best film and best screenplay awards at the 2020 edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
