The director of the fourth edition of the festival, Ebrahim Hesari, announced the jury members of the event.

A total of 5,322 films, from 120 countries, were sent to the secretariat of the festival, he said.

He added that the event will screen 61 feature and documentary films, of which 41 and 20 films will compete at the national and international sections of the festival, respectively.

The international films are from Sweden, Iraq, Morocco, Spain, Tanzania, Ukraine, the USA, France, Lebanon, Colombia, Ghana, Austria, Syria, Peru, India, Mexico, Greece and Norway.

The festival will be held February 18-21 in Iran’s southern Kish Island.

Motamed-Arya, who has acted in over 70 films, is famous for her roles in such acclaimed movies as ‘The Blue-Veiled’ and ‘Gilaneh’.

She has been honored with a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress two times at Iran’s Fajr Film Festival and also has won awards at over 80 international events.

Emilio was born in Verona, Italy. In 1952, he graduated from the School of Architecture in Venice, and is Cinematographer and Director of River Film Festival, Padova, reported asff.co.uk.

Emilio was influenced by the personality of Joris Ivens, whom he met at the Venice Film Festival, where he has worked for over 30 years as projectionist. At Venice, he also met many of the great personalities of cinema, such as Fellini and Bergman. He continued his training in cinema working first as assistant, then operator, and then director of photography at the school of Olmi for 12 years.

Emilio founded the River Film Festival, which has now grown into an international film festival. He has also served as member of the jury at various other festivals around the world.

According to IMDB, Irina was born in 1979, studied electronics and communications engineering at the University of Panama (1998-2004). She is a film producer, having graduated from the International School of Film and Television of CUBA.

She has had a highlighted participation as a young producer on international film markets and festivals: Produire au Sud (Nantes, France), Berlinale Talent Campus (Berlin), MiradasDoc Market (Tenerife), DocBsAs/Latin Side of the Doc and Ventana Sur (Argentina), Nuevas Miradas (Havana), Iberoamerican Films Crossing Borders, MoreliaLab, among others.
