‘Any Day Now’ is also set to take part in the 2021 Berlinale-Berlin International Film Festival and will be screened at the Generation Kplus section of the German fest’s 71st edition.

The film narrates the story of a 13-year-old boy whose life in a village in Finland turns upside down when his parents’ application for asylum is rejected.

Shahab Hosseini portrays the role of the father of the family that doesn’t sink into despair regardless of its insecure and uncertain life in a country that does not want to accept it.
