The film is about a young boy, Hassan, who lives near Lake Urmia with his family. The lake is drying up so they have to sell their boat. 

Hassan tries to keep the old boat and wait for his father, who has left the family for earning money.

“Ava” by Lea Mysius from France was named the best feature film, while “Mister Coconut” by Margien Rogaar from the Netherlands received the best short film award at the festival.
