The jury members for the short film category include Delshad Mostafa, writer-director from Kurdistan, Reza Darmishian, director from Iran and Sahim Omar Khalifa, director from Belgium. These jurors will be evaluating 47 works from various countries such as Iran, France, US, Germany, Italy, Britain, Mexico, Canada, Emirates, Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan, Philippine, India, Lithuania, Serbia, Albany, Morocco, Columbia, Chile, Russia, Portuguese, Russia, Netherlands, Japan and Turkey among others.
The festival will be held in the City Cinema in Slemani from October 1-7, 2017.
The festival will grant 14 ‘Golden Pine Cone’ awards on the whole which include awards for best film, best director, best screenplay, best cinematography and best short film in two international and national categories.
