Iranian director Soheila Golestani’s short film “If You Go Away” won the Best VR Award at the Hollyshorts Film Festival, which was held in Los Angeles from August 10 to 19.

The film is a love story about Syrian war refugees. 

A couple forced to migrate because of war become separated from each other. The woman tries to fight against her destiny and get back to her husband.

Golestani made the 5-minute film using virtual reality techniques.
