The Iranian feature films participating in the festival are: ‘A Long Day’ directed by Babak Bahram Beigi, ‘Abji’ (Sister) by Marjan Ashrafizadeh and ‘Nakouk’ (Tuneless) by Amir Pourkian, ISNA reported.

‘Advantage’ directed by Mohammad Kart and ‘Papli’ by Mehdi Zamanpour-Kiasari are the two documentaries at the South African event.

The short film ‘Retouch’ directed by Kaveh Mazaheri will also be present.

An annual festival, the DIFF kicked off on July 13 in the coastal city of Durban in South Africa and will continue until July 23.

Launched in 2005, it is one of the oldest and largest film festivals in southern Africa and presents more than 200 screenings celebrating the best in South African, African and international cinema.
